适用范围：This International Standard applies to a.c. circuit-breakers within the scope of IEC 60056. It provides the general rules for testing a.c. circuit-breakers, for making and breaking capacities over the range of test-duties described in 6.102 to 6.111 of IEC 60056, by synthetic methods. NOTE Circuits for the test duties described in 6.111 have not yet been standardized. However, present methods are given in annex GG. The methods and techniques described are those in general use. The purpose of this standard is to establish criteria for synthetic testing and for the proper evaluation of results. Such criteria will establish the validity of the test method without imposing restraints on innovation of test circuitry.

适用范围：For a given current path through the human body, the danger to persons depends mainly on the magnitude and duration of the current flow. However, the time/current zones specified in the following clauses are, in many cases, not directly applicable in practice for designing measures of protection against electrical shock. The necessary criterion is the admissible limit of touch voltage (i.e. the product of the current through the body called touch current and the body impedance) as a function of time. The relationship between current and voltage is not linear because the impedance of the human body varies with the touch voltage, and data on this relationship is therefore required. The different parts of the human body (such as the skin, blood, muscles, other tissues and joints) present to the electric current a certain impedance composed of resistive and capacitive components. The values of body impedance depend on a number of factors and, in particular, on current path, on touch voltage, duration of current flow, frequency, degree of moisture of the skin, surface area of contact, pressure exerted and temperature. The impedance values indicated in this technical specification result from a close examination of the experimental results available from measurements carried out principally on corpses and on some living persons. Knowledge of the effects of alternating current is primarily based on the findings related to the effects of current at frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz which are the most common in electrical installations. The values given are, however, deemed applicable over the frequency range from 15 Hz to 100 Hz, threshold values at the limits of this range being higher than those at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Principally the risk of ventricular fibrillation is considered to be the main mechanism of death of fatal electrical accidents. Accidents with direct current are much less frequent than would be expected from the number of d.c. applications, and fatal electrical accidents occur only under very unfavourable conditions, for example, in mines. This is partly due to the fact that with direct current, the letgo of parts gripped is less difficult and that for shock durations longer than the period of the cardiac cycle, the threshold of ventricular fibrillation is considerably higher than for alternating current. NOTE The IEC 60479 series contains information about body impedance and body current thresholds for various physiological effects. This information can be combined to derive estimates of a.c. and d.c. touch voltage thresholds for certain body current pathways, contact moisture conditions, and skin contact areas. Information about touch voltage thresholds for physiological effects is contained in IEC 61201.

The apparatus, or parts thereof, are intended for use in mines susceptible to firedamp. The requirements and test methods applicable to the apparatus covered by this standard are specified in part 1. NOTE  -- The use of group I apparatus may not be permitted without the additional and prior approval of the relevant authority in mines under its jurisdiction, see note 1 of 1.1.1 of part 1. This standard is restricted to apparatus intended for the detection and measurement of volume ratios of methane in air from a volume fraction of 0 % up to a volume fraction of 100 %. NOTE -- Apparatus covered by this standard will normally be intended to operate in volume ratios greater than a volume fraction of 5 %.

NOTE 1 Unless otherwise stated, the term “relay(s)” is used as an abbreviation for the expression “measuring relays and protection equipment” in this standard. In particular, this standard, specifies the following: – definition of terms; – guidance for the selection of clearances and creepage distances and other aspects related to the insulation of measuring relays and protection equipment; – requirements for voltage tests and insulation resistance measurement. This standard is applicable to the installation and use at altitudes up to 2 000 m of equipment having a rated a.c. voltage up to 1 000 V, with a rated frequency up to 65 Hz, or a d.c. voltage up to 1 500 V. This standard also applies to associated auxiliary devices such as shunts, series resistors, transformers, etc., used and tested together with measuring relays and protection equipment as mentioned above, except where the devices are covered by other IEC publications, for example communication interfaces. NOTE 2 Requirements for altitudes exceeding 2 000 m can be derived from table B.1.

The general considerations upon which the design of this rangeof cores is based are as given in Annex A.

The objective of the tests is to confirm that the equipment under test will operate correctly when energised and subjected to repetitive damped oscillatory waves such as those originating from closing or opening circuit breakers or disconnectors in high voltage substations or power plants. The requirements specified in this part of IEC 60255 are applicable to measuring relays and protection equipment in a new condition and all tests specified are type tests only. The object of this standard is to establish: – definitions of terms used; – test severity levels; – test equipment; – test set-up; – test procedure; – criteria for acceptance; – test report.

适用范围：This part of IEC 60034 specifies efficiency classes forsingle-speed, three-phase, 50 Hz and 60 Hz, cage-induction motorsthat: • have a rated voltage UN up to 1 000 V; NOTE The standard also applies to motors rated for two or morevoltages and/or frequencies. • have a rated output PN between 0,75 kW and 375 kW; • have either 2, 4 or 6 poles; • are rated on the basis of either duty type S1 (continuousduty) or S3 (intermittent periodic duty) with a rated cyclicduration factor of 80 % or higher; • are capable of operating direct on-line; • are rated for operating conditions in accordance with IEC60034-1, Clause 6. Motors with flanges, feet and/or shafts with mechanicaldimensions different from IEC 60072-1 are covered by thisstandard. Geared motors and brake motors are covered by this standardalthough special shafts and flanges may be used in such motors. Excluded are: • Motors made solely for converter operation in accordance withIEC 60034-25. • Motors completely integrated into a machine (for example pump,fan and compressor) that cannot be tested separately from themachine.

IEC 61511-1 has been developed as a process sector implementation of IEC 61508:2010. In particular, IEC 61511-1: a) specifies the requirements for achieving functional safety but does not specify who is responsible for implementing the requirements (e.g., designers, suppliers, owner/operating company, contractor). This responsibility will be assigned to different parties according to safety planning, project planning and management, and national regulations; b) applies when devices that meets the requirements of the IEC 61508 series published in 2010, or IEC 61511-1:2016 [11.5], is integrated into an overall system that is to be used for a process sector application. It does not apply to manufacturers wishing to claim that devices are suitable for use in SISs for the process sector (see IEC 61508- 2:2010 and IEC 61508-3:2010); c) defines the relationship between IEC 61511 and IEC 61508 (see Figures 2 and 3); d) applies when application programs are developed for systems having limited variability language or when using fixed programming language devices, but does not apply to manufacturers, SIS designers, integrators and users that develop embedded software (system software) or use full variability languages (see IEC 61508- 3:2010); e) applies to a wide variety of industries within the process sector for example, chemicals, oil and gas, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and non-nuclear power generation; NOTE 1 Within the process sector some applications, may have additional requirements that have to be satisfied f) outlines the relationship between SIFs and other instrumented functions (see Figure 4); g) results in the identification of the functional requirements and safety integrity requirements for the SIF taking into account the risk reduction achieved by other methods; h) specifies life-cycle requirements for system architecture and hardware configuration, application programming, and system integration; i) specifies requirements for application programming for users and integrators of SISs

Examples are given of protection techniques which have the approval of international experts. NOTE – The examples given illustrate one possible method of achieving protection. Other methods may be equally valid.

Moreover itcontains a basic test schedule to be used in the preparation ofsuch specifications.
